A friend just sent me the link to this youtube video that i found very interesting.I thought i'd share it with my blog viewers.
Basically, it is a crew of hip hop break dancers a.k.a "bboys"
who travel to Africa to teach young needy African children the art of dancing. It enables those deprived children who went through tough life experiences to escape from their harsh realities.
This program allows communities to gather and celebrate the essence of youth, uplift young Ugandans.
The hip-hop culture is often associated with violence and negatives massage. This video breaks the stereotypes as it shows us that music is universal.Indeed, bridges the gap between cultures and can convey positive massages throughout the community.I feel deeply humbled by this video and have much respect for this initiave taken by the "bouncing cats".
Here is the link to the video!
